June 24, (THEWILL) – Tom Keane, the brother of Wigan forward Will and Everton defender, Michael, is anticipated to succeed departing Negotiations Director, Matt Judge at Manchester United.
The Old Trafford management has undergone a number of high-profile changes recently, with Judge’s resignation being the most recent. As THEWILL reported, Richard Arnold, who was promoted from his previous position as group managing director, has already taken over from Ed Woodward.
Elsewhere, senior scouting heads, Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout, have also recently left the club. Keane will now take over some of the tasks that were part of Judge’s job description. This will involve playing a “significant” part in the club’s transfer negotiations during Erik ten Hag’s first summer as manager, which is now anticipated to be a busy time for the team.
