January 02, (THEWILL) – The President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Ahmadu Musa Kida, has sent a message of goodwill to fans of the sport and all Nigerians, as the world looks towards a better year in 2023.
Kida expressed gratitude for the mercies and blessings of God on Nigeria, despite the challenges the country has faced, and expressed confidence in the future of Nigerian sports, particularly basketball, in the coming year.
He credited this optimism to the renewed dedication and determination of the NBBF board and other key stakeholders to elevate the sport.
Kida infused in his message the need for gratitude for the past and hope for a better tomorrow. He said: “As a people, we must be grateful to God for His mercies and blessings upon us as a people. Yes, like other countries across the world, Nigeria, also had its shares of challenges.
“However, we can still look forward to a better Nigeria in 2023.”
