Omaghomi had worked for the royal household for 13 years before being promoted to be King Charles’ most senior aide, the first black woman in July 2021, after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made shocking allegations of racism in the royal family.

Her job role was to help take forward the royals’ work with minority groups in the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and globally.

Eva, who has been a much-valued part of the King’s team for over 17 years, will, however, continue to advise King Charles on community engagement matters.
