August 08, (THEWILL) – Singer Daniel Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel, has been arrested in Tanzania for failing to perform in his concert, which was scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
The singer arrived the country earlier, but failed perform because his clothes for the event were unavailable.
He was said to have forgotten his bag in Uganda and refused to purchase another set of clothes for his performance.
Some music fans, who paid as much as $5,000 for a table were disappointed and they ripped the hall apart out of frustration.
In a video which has since gone viral, the singer was led into a police van by Tanzanian law enforcement officers.
In July, Kizz Daniel was first called out after he stood fans up for five hours before his performance.
He later explained that his visa was not released on time, despite making an early request for it.
He apologised to his fans for his lateness. Later that month, he was called out again for cancelling his concert abruptly in Denver.
Fans have since been reacting negatively to the development.
