Brentford, who utilised all five of their substitutes available to them in the second half, came back into the game and the Foxes’ problems from the previous campaign with maintaining a lead reared their ugly heads once more with the final whistle going off with the scores tied at 2-all.

Leicester will be kicking themselves for not getting off to a winning start from their two-goal advantage especially as their next match is against the much-improved Arsenal at the Emirates. For Brentford, they will be attempting to earn their first victory of the season when they take on Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United next.
