March 23, (THEWILL) – The English Premier League’s finest goalkeepers proved their worths once again in March, making incredible saves that have made the Castrol Save of the Month shortlist.
From Illan Meslier’s one-on-one save against Chelsea to Fraser Forster’s penalty stop against Nottingham Forest, the men between the sticks were in top form throughout the month.
Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale made a potentially season-defining save against Bournemouth, diving across his box to deny Dango Ouattara what looked like a certain goal. Meanwhile, David Raya of Brentford made a miraculous point-blank save to deny Alex Iwobi a goal for Everton.
The Castrol Save of the Month shortlist also includes Jose Sa’s stunning diving stop against Tottenham Hotspurs and Alphonse Areola’s tip onto the crossbar to save a brilliant long-range strike from Julio Enciso during Brighton’s clash with West Ham.
