April 16, (THEWILL) – Real Madrid secured a 2-0 La Liga victory against Cadiz on Saturday, with two goals in the space of four minutes from Nacho and Marco Asensio.
Los Blancos dominated the game at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, but they were wasteful until Nacho opened the scoring with his first goal of the season after 72 minutes. Asensio added a second soon after, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side moved to within 10 points behind leaders, Barcelona, at the expense of relegation-threatened Cadiz.

Luka Modric came off the bench late in the game, as Real Madrid secured an ultimately comfortable win.
Real Madrid continued to dominate the game, with Asensio and Karim Benzema being denied by an alert Cadiz goalkeeper David Gil. After a frustrating first half, Madrid finally found the breakthrough when Nacho produced a quality right-foot finish from 20 yards out. Asensio then cut in from the left to finish off with a slick move, sealing a deserved win for the visitors.
Real Madrid will face Chelsea in the UCL Quarter-Final reverse fixture on Friday, while Cadiz will take on Espanyol in their next La Liga game.
