One player, who will not be joining the team in Morocco is İstanbulspor’s rising star, Michael Ologo. Despite being recommended to coach Ladan Bosso by one of his associates, the 19-year-old central defender missed out on a place in the final 21-man squad.

Bosso did not want to risk including Ologo due to his fitness issues, as he was dealing with a health ailment for a large part of the team’s preparations in Abuja and did not feature in most of their preparatory games.
