May 05, (THEWILL) – Popular Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti, had a terrifying experience when a stray bullet penetrated his hotel room in the United States.
The singer recounted the incident in an Instagram video posted Sunday evening, expressing both shock and disbelief at the unexpected danger.
“I read somewhere that these are civilised people. Tell me you’re in America without telling me you’re in America. I was just relaxing in my hotel room when suddenly—boom—this happened”, Kuti remarked.
The bullet reportedly entered through the window, though no additional information regarding the shooting’s origin or possible suspects was immediately available.
Kuti, known for his outspoken views on social issues, appeared unharmed but visibly shaken by the close call.
The incident has since sparked reactions from fans and followers, many of whom expressed concern for his safety.
Kuti has assured his followers that he is safe, but did not reveal the city where the incident happened.
