April 13, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has expressed gratitude after recovering from a recent health scare.
The actor shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed on Instagram, thanking God for his survival after what he described as a difficult 48 hours.
“Thank God for my life…I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes,” he wrote.
Salami attributed the incident to physical strain caused by the intense promotion of his latest film, “Kilanko.”
“I am not the type to say ‘Devil is a liar’ because I have truly stressed this body. Kilanko has taken too much from me, but still I am grateful to God for life and the movie’s progress,” he added.
The actor said the demanding schedule took a toll on his health, noting that his body had been under pressure for some time.
Salami is currently promoting “Kilanko: The Invisible Child,” a project linked to his late colleague, Allwell Ademola.
In recent weeks, he also appealed to fans to support the film following its slow performance in cinemas.
He is now recovering and has used the experience to highlight the importance of rest and prioritizing health.
