December 28, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actress, director, and film producer, Allwell Ademola, has died at the age of 43.
She died in Lagos on Saturday, December 27, 2025, after reportedly suffering a heart attack at her residence and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The news was confirmed by fellow actress, Faithia Williams, who took to social media to express her grief, writing, “This hit me so bad.”
Members of the Nollywood community and fans expressed shock and grief on social media following news of her sudden passing.
Ademola worked across both Yoruba and English-language Nollywood films as an actress, producer, and director, appearing in numerous productions throughout her career.
She was also the granddaughter of the late Adetokunbo Ademola, former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Her family has yet to release an official statement.
