April 22, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actress, Ini Dima-Okojie, has announced that she and her husband, Abasi Ene-Obong, are expecting their first child.
She shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, alongside a video showing her baby bump. She described the pregnancy as a “miracle” and a “divine gift.”
“There are moments when words feel too small for what God has done. This is one of those moments”, she wrote.
She added, “God has been so kind. So faithful. So intentional. And now, my heart is holding a love I have never known before. I get to be a mother. What a miracle. What a privilege. What a calling.”
Dima-Okojie said the experience has been life-changing, noting that motherhood has already begun to transform her.
“My body is changing, my heart is expanding, and my life will never be the same again, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.
The announcement has drawn congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
The actress had previously revealed in 2020 that she was diagnosed with uterine fibroids in 2017, a condition that can sometimes affect fertility.
She married Abasi Ene-Obong in 2022.
