January 24, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced that she has reconciled with her former husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, nearly ten years after their highly publicized separation and prolonged conflict.
In an emotional statement shared on her social media platforms, Dikeh described the reunion as a “divine restoration,” expressing profound gratitude for what she believes was God’s direct intervention in healing their once-broken relationship.
According to the actress, years of public battles, broken communication, bitterness, and emotional pain finally gave way to peace when God stepped in.
“We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing. God is not a God who abandons what He has started. When He begins a work, He stays with it until it is completed,” she wrote.
Dikeh attributed the breakthrough to salvation, humility, sincere prayer, and obedience to God, emphasizing that human effort alone could not have healed the wounds that defined their past.
“This restoration is not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength—but by the Spirit of the Lord. God softens hearts, silences the enemy, and rewrites stories that looked finished,” she added.
She also expressed appreciation to Churchill for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction.
Dikeh noted that the renewed relationship is built on humility, genuine forgiveness, and a shared commitment to the well-being of their child.
The actress encouraged others facing similar struggles not to lose hope, even when situations appear beyond repair. She reassured them that God does not abandon what He starts and urged continued prayer, love, and faith, even in painful seasons.
She concluded by praying that the restored relationship remains anchored in mercy, grace, and divine protection, describing the reconciliation as “10 years in one day.”

Tonto Dikeh and Churchill were married in August 2015, but their high-profile union ended less than two years later, in July 2017.
The separation followed intense media scrutiny, mutual allegations of infidelity and domestic violence, and prolonged legal battles over custody of their son, King Andre Churchill.
