The honor was conferred on the duo by His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, CFR, the paramount ruler of Egbaland. The traditional ruler revealed that the well-deserved title, steeped in history and significance, was once held by the late Chief Ernest Shonekan, a statesman and former Head of Nigeria’s Interim Government. He described Otunba Lawal as a shining example of excellence and an unparalleled role model.
