July 08, (THEWILL) – The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ogun State, Otuba Deji Osinowo, has picked Alhaji Usman Sulaimon, as his running mate to contest the 2023 election.
Osinowo, who spoke through his WhatsApp platform, said that his choice of Sulaimon, the Director of Operation and Publicity for Trade Leaders Council of Nigeria (TRALCON), was because of his integrity.
“Very well known for integrity”, he said
Feeling elated, Sulaimon thanked Osinowo for picking him as his running mate to contest the 2023 governorship election in the state, saying that he would not fail him.
He promised to be loyal and abide by the principles and directives of his principal, noting that such opportunity was rare and would do everything possible to support him to win the election.
Sulaimon, said that he would consult leaders of various trade in TRALCON to meet each of their members to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) and vote for Osinowo as the next governor of the state.
“I am very elated, to be a deputy governor is not a small post, I thanked God and I thanked him too. I have over a million of members in this council, and will bring leaders of associations and groups together to work for him to become the governor of Ogun State”, he added.
