June 03, (THEWILL) – Nigerian marksman, Victor Osimhen, has etched his name in Italian Serie A history by being crowned the Best Striker of the 2022/2023 season.
The Super Eagles’ forward has been a force to be reckoned with throughout the campaign, exhibiting exceptional form for his club, Napoli. Osimhen’s outstanding performance saw him net an impressive 30 goals across all competitions, making this his most fruitful season yet.
The 24-year-old striker’s goal-scoring prowess has been particularly noteworthy in the Serie A, where he has found the back of the net 25 times, firmly establishing himself at the top of the league’s goalscorers’ chart.
