April 22, (THEWILL) – The General Manager, Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO), Hon. Anthony Anyaehie, has stated that he has continued to put effort to ensure that Owerri, the Imo State capital, is sanitised.
Anyaehie said this in Owerri while on inspection within the municipality on Friday, in company of his workers, noting that the new Imo ENTRACO under his leadership has chosen to apply a human face to their operations.
“We recognise the challenges many face in striving to earn an honest living. However, we also call on the public to support us in our mission, together, we can achieve more”, he said.
He advised the general public to join hands to create a cleaner, healthier, and more habitable society, adding that a sanitised environment is a blessing to all.
In a bid to restore free vehicular movement within the municipality, it is on record that ENTRACO, under the leadership of Anyaehie, has decongested Douglas, Amakohia, Akwakuma, Imsu Junction, Orji flyover, Wetheral Junction, Fire Service and some other flashpoints.
Sanity has now returned to the above-mentioned areas.
