March 08, (THEWILL) – Ten-man Bayern Munich suffered a shock defeat at the Allianz Arena as Bochum overturned a two-goal deficit to triumph 3-2.
The result ended Bayern’s impressive 11-match unbeaten run across all competitions and dented Vincent Kompany’s side’s progress in the Bundesliga title race.
Bayern appeared to be cruising when Raphael Guerreiro struck twice, opening the scoring in the 14th minute before doubling the advantage 28 minutes after Thomas Muller provided the assist.
