SAN FRANCISCO, July 15, (THEWILL) – The autopsy report of the death of the former Glee star, Naya Rivera has been released after the body of the actress was discovered on Monday.

According to the Ventura medical Examiner’s office, there were no traumatic injuries or disease as at the time of her death. Also, drugs or alcohol were not a factor.

“The circumstances and visual characteristics all indicated that the body was that of Naya Rivera and the identity has been confirmed by dental comparison.

“The autopsy findings are consistent with drowning and the condition of the body is consistent with the time that she was submerged.

“No traumatic injuries or disease processes were identified at autopsy,” the medical examiner’s office said.

“There is no indication from the investigation or examination that drugs or alcohol played a role in the decedent’s death, but specimens will be submitted for toxicology testing,” it added.

THEWILL had reported that the Hollywood actress went missing after renting a boat at Lake Piru, southern California, with her four-year–old son, Josey. Josey was found alone sleeping in the boat. He later narrated how the actress disappeared into the deep reservoir after rescuing him following a heavy current.
