June 09, (THEWILL) — Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have made their red-carpet debut as a couple.
The pair attended the premiere of Perry’s concert film, “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris”, at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on Monday, June 8.
Perry wore a vintage draped white Lanvin gown, while Trudeau appeared in a black suit as they posed together for photographers at the event. The couple was seen holding hands, laughing together, and sharing a warm moment on the red carpet.
The appearance marks their first official red-carpet outing since they were first linked in July 2025, shortly after Perry ended her engagement to actor Orlando Bloom.
The couple sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together in Montreal. Since then, they have been seen together at several public events and trips.
Trudeau attended the premiere in support of Perry, whose concert film captures performances from her “Lifetimes” tour.
Speaking about the project, Perry described it as a concert experience created for her fans and a celebration of her music career.
Their latest appearance is the clearest public sign yet of their relationship and has continued to attract attention since they were first linked last year.
