January 04, (THEWILL) – Golfer Jon Rahm has his sights set on winning more majors in 2023, after a somewhat disappointing season in 2022.
Despite winning three tournaments in 2022, including the DP World Tour Championship, Rahm struggled in the major championships, with his best finish being a tie for 12th at the US Open.
Reflecting on the season, Rahm admitted to having problems with his swing but said he was pleased with his form in the second half of the year and is confident going into 2023.
“I think there’s a lot of things you can do well as an athlete and as a player to consider a positive year,” Rahm said. “Obviously, you want to win events. That’s there. The only thing I didn’t do last year that I wish I would have done is compete better in majors and give myself a better chance.”
Rahm will begin his 2023 season at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
