July 8 (THEWILL) — Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has filed a ₦2.55 billion lawsuit against fellow rapper, Odumodublvck, over social media posts accusing him of sexual abuse.
According to legal documents dated July 7, 2026, Blaqbonez is seeking ₦2 billion in general damages, ₦500 million in aggravated damages and ₦50 million in legal costs.
His lawyers said Odumodublvck made false and defamatory statements that damaged his reputation, career and emotional well-being.

The case is based on a series of posts on X in which Odumodublvck allegedly called Blaqbonez a “sexual abuser” and claimed that some people in the Nigerian music industry were protecting him.
Blaqbonez has denied the allegations, saying they are false and were made to damage his reputation. The allegations have not been proven in court.
The rapper is also asking the court to order Odumodublvck to delete the posts, publish a public apology on his X and Instagram accounts, pin the apology on both platforms for at least 30 consecutive days, and refrain from making similar statements in the future.

The lawsuit is the latest development in the pair’s long-running feud. The two rappers, who previously collaborated on songs including “Tesla Boy”, “Dollerz”, and “Technician”, have exchanged diss tracks and traded words on social media over the past year.
Odumodublvck has reportedly rejected the legal demands and says he stands by his claims. The case is now before the court.
