November 04, (THEWILL) —Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has taken to social media to accuse her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of ordering the arrest of her elder brother and sister amid their ongoing marital crisis.
This development follows weeks of controversy surrounding the couple, with Regina previously alleging domestic violence, and Nwoko accusing her of substance abuse, claims she has repeatedly denied.
She had earlier revealed on social media that she recently acquired a new home in Lagos, further fueling speculation about their separation.
In a series of emotional posts shared on her Instagram story on Monday night, Regina said she feels like she’s “losing her mind”, alleging that her husband is using her family’s arrest to pressure her into rehab.
“Someone, please, help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. I never thought I would do this, but my big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab”, she wrote.
Regina firmly denied Nwoko’s allegations of drug addiction, saying:
“You said I’m a drug addict. Me I use am rub body sir! What other name will you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak on that one day and tell the world your involvement with everything!”
The actress also pleaded with her husband to stop targeting her family, expressing exhaustion over what she described as emotional and public humiliation.
“It’s obvious it’s war. Must things go completely south if partners are no longer interested? The beautiful legacy we built is now being ridiculed by the world”, she added.
Her outburst has sparked widespread concern online, with fans and colleagues expressing worry for Regina’s safety and urging both parties to resolve their differences privately and away from the public eye.
Senator Nwoko has yet to comment on Regina’s latest claims, and the alleged arrests of her siblings remain unconfirmed.
