July 25, (THEWILL) – Comedian cum actor, Samuel Animashaun Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, has accused the Police Public Relation Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, of just tweeting about citizen’s right, but not backing his words with action.
Since Adejobi took over as Police PRO, he tweets to enlighten Nigerians about their rights. He also enlighens on how citizens can incur the wrath of the law.
In one of his recent tweets, he revealed that no policeman has the right to slap or beat a civilian. Any officer that slaps a citizen has assaulted such a citizen.
Broda Shaggi had to respond to his tweet. According to him, a lot of citizens are being assaulted on daily basis by policemen, but nothing has been done to punish them.
He advised the PRO to take action against his men first before he would resume his task of enlightenment.
“Oga, you go just come on bird app dey yarn dust. Your guys dey slap people everyday. Both men and women, old and young and nothing has ever been done about it.
“You are just tweeting all these things for nothing bro. If you really care, let’s see the punishment given to any policeman who slaps a citizen.
“Make una no dey find youths likes and comments like say una dey with us, while you take order from those murderers, Abeggiii”, he wrote.
