April 01, (THEWILL) — Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, is taking his talents off the pitch and into the studio as he prepares to release his debut music EP “More To Life” on April 9, 2026.
Iwobi shared the project’s cover art and track list on Instagram, giving fans a first look at his blend of Afrobeats and Afrowave sounds.
The 9-track EP features collaborations with artistes, including 24 AM, Teniola Time, Gidi, Fido, and SPKS, as well as two solo tracks showcasing Iwobi’s growing confidence as a musician.
The Fulham midfielder has dabbled in music before, teaming up with fellow footballer, Chuba Akpom (Skoli), and British rapper, Ramz, on the track “Hop Out”. Now, he is ready to step into the spotlight with his own project.
Despite launching his music career, Iwobi remains a key player for Fulham in the Premier League and is approaching his 100th cap for the Super Eagles.
He returns to England this week after Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Jordan and will play for Fulham, currently ninth in the league, against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
The EP gives fans a fresh side of Iwobi, blending his love for music with his passion for football.
