February 19, (THEWILL) — Pop superstar, Taylor Swift, has been named the Biggest-Selling Global Artist of 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), marking her fourth consecutive year at the top of the IFPI Global Artist Chart.
The 2025 honour marks Swift’s sixth overall win. She previously claimed the title in 2014, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, making her the only artist in the award’s history to achieve six victories.
IFPI credited strong global engagement in 2025 to the release of Swift’s 12th studio album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, and her documentary series ‘The End of an Era’.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in October and spent 12 weeks at the top, while singles like “Opalite” and “The Fate of Ophelia” also recorded significant chart success.
The 2025 ranking also highlights other major global acts with K-pop group Stray Kids at No. 2, Drake at No. 3, The Weeknd at No. 4 and Bad Bunny at No. 5.
The IFPI ranking tracks worldwide music consumption across streaming platforms, digital downloads, and physical sales, offering a comprehensive measure of global success.
