What began as persistent back pain—initially thought to be a slipped disc—was later identified through an emergency MRI as a malignant spinal tumour. Despite undergoing intensive radiation treatment and celebrating small victories like regaining her ability to walk short distances, Mack’s health declined in recent months.

Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow on July 10, 1992, Mack graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film in 2014.

Mack built an impressive resume with 35 acting credits, including roles in Chicago Med and *9-1-1*, but remained most recognised for her role in The Walking Dead.

In their emotional tribute, Mack’s family described her as “a bright, fervent light” and noted loved ones have been comforted by signs of her presence, particularly through butterfly sightings.
