July 29, (THEWILL) — Nigeria rolled out the red carpet for its victorious Super Falcons on Monday night with a star-studded presidential dinner at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The event, hosted by President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, was held in honour of the team’s dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Morocco in Saturday’s WAFCON final.
Music stars Timi Dakolo, Flavour, Teni, and Fido thrilled the audience with electrifying performances, delivering a musical tribute to the newly crowned African champions.
Dignitaries at the event included the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa; Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite; and Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, who joined in celebrating the nation’s football heroines.
