July 03, (THEWILL) – Bose Ogulu, mother to Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning musician, has celebrated her son on his 31st birthday.
The crooner marked his birthday on Saturday and was celebrated by several of his fans across the globe.
In an Instagram post, Ogulu, who doubles as the singer’s manager, said she is proud of the man he has become.
She also told the singer to “tone down the madness” as he clocks another year — although she later removed the line from her post.
“Happy birthday D. You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become. Let’s tone down the madness. Cheers to a new age”, she wrote.
Her advice may not be unconnected to the several infractions he has committed lately, the most recent being the one he sat back while his aides shot at two men in a night club in Lagos, because the wife of one of the men turned down his advances.
Although the issue was reported to the police, up until the time of this post, nothing concrete has come out of the case.
