February 11, (THEWILL) – Paris Saint-Germain moved significantly closer to UEFA Champions League progression following an emphatic 3-0 victory against Brest in their first-leg play-off match on Tuesday.
The match, staged at the Stade de Roudourou in Guingamp, gave further evidence of PSG’s dominant form against French opposition.
Ousmane Dembele continued his remarkable scoring streak, contributing two goals to the victory.
The French international forward has accumulated 23 goals this season, with an impressive tally of 18 strikes in his previous 11 appearances.

Abdallah Sima struck the woodwork twice, while an early attempted clearance by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma nearly resulted in an own goal.
However, the hosts could not convert these chances into goals.
The return leg will take place next Wednesday in Paris, with the victors advancing to face either Liverpool or Barcelona in the last 16.
Given their current form, particularly against domestic opposition, PSG will approach either potential opponent with considerable confidence.
