The defending champion’s masterful drive strengthened his Formula 1 championship advantage, building a 62-point margin with three races remaining in the 2024 season.
The Red Bull driver conquered the wet conditions decisively, finishing ahead of Alpine teammates Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, who gained positions during an earlier red flag interruption. Pole position starter Lando Norris crossed the line sixth in his McLaren, dealing a significant blow to his championship hopes.
