March 26, (THEWILL) — Popular Nigerian activist, VeryDarkMan, has challenged self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, over her claim that she has stage 4 breast cancer.
Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro, shared the news on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in a viral Instagram video. She appeared tearful, showed signs of hair loss, and spoke about how the illness has affected her.
She also asked for financial support to cover chemotherapy and urgent surgery. In the video, she said she may need a double mastectomy, depending on how fast the cancer progresses.
Reacting in a separate video on Thursday, VDM said she has not provided “any concrete evidence to support her claim.” He questioned the lack of medical proof or treatment details, saying it raises concerns.
VeryDarkMan suggested the situation could be “clout chasing” or a publicity stunt. He added that cancer is a serious disease that “should not be used for emotional appeal” or personal attention.
He also referenced her past controversies, including a 2019 incident involving a house owned by Onye Eze, which led to her arrest and later apology.
While some fans expressed sympathy, others were sceptical, saying they did not believe her due to her history of misleading the public.
The situation has sparked heated debate online, with many calling for proof of her claims.
