September 20, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has explained why she chose not to pursue a political career, despite her husband’s plea.
Daniels is married to Ned Nwoko, the Senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly.
The actress said her husband suggested that she run for a political position but she declined.
She said she is willing to do what she can to assist and serve others but venturing into politics is not for her.
She also described politics as tough, adding that she will only consider it if she finds inspiration.
In July, Regina was appointed as the Social Secretary of the 10th Senators Wives Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
