July 21, (THEWILL) – Comedian Francis Agoda, aka I Go Dye, says he is not ready to stake his integrity to campaign for any politician.
“I will not stake my integrity for any politician, even if I am offered N1 billion, because some of them often abuse the trust given to them.
“What comfort have they given to the electorate? The major sacrifices made for them (by Nigerians) have not made life more meaningful for the people.
“There is no need for me to campaign for any of them because in the long run, the hardship meted on us will still be there.
“Whenever I see any politician that doesn’t live above their means and sustains the integrity test, I will campaign for them for free.”
On the readiness of the youth to take over the leadership reins of the country, the comedian said, “The youth make up the larger part of the voting population and they have always played a role in the emergence of any candidate.
“The youth are beginning to see the possibilities of determining how they want their future to be.”
