October 30, (THEWILL) – Teenage sensation Florian Wirtz produced a moment of magic to help fire Bayer Leverkusen to a 2-1 victory over Freiburg on Sunday night. The 20-year-old beat several defenders with some silky skills before slamming the ball into the net to open the scoring for the home side.
Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso heaped praise on Wirtz post-match, saying: “I don’t think I’ve seen a goal that special from him so far. The dribble, the dribble, the dribble and at the end the shot.
