The announcement comes shortly after his latest collaboration with DJ Tunez, titled “State of Mind”, which debuted on May 15, 2026.

The single reportedly earned over 685,000 global streams on Spotify in its first 24 hours.

Wizkid previously made history in January 2026 as the first African artist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify.

He is currently the most-streamed male African artist of 2026, earning over 800 million streams in the first few months of the year alone.

Wizkid’s 11 billion streams underscore the growing global reach of Afrobeats and Nigeria’s leading role in shaping African music on the world stage.
