March 31, (THEWILL) — Wizkid has reached a new career high on Spotify, recording 16.53 million monthly listeners as of late March 2026.
The figure marks his highest-ever audience on the platform and reflects a strong rise in global streams. In one day, he gained more than 300,000 new listeners.
Wizkid has also surpassed 10.6 billion total streams across all credits on Spotify, reinforcing his position as one of the most-streamed African artists in the platform’s history.
His latest project, “Morayo”, has played a major role in the growth, with over 16 million streams on its first day.
Recent singles, including “Kese (Dance)” and “Piece of My Heart,” featuring Brent Faiyaz, have also boosted his streaming numbers, setting first-day records in Nigeria.
Wizkid remains the first African artist to reach every billion-stream milestone on Spotify, from one billion to 10 billion.
Older hits, including songs from his Grammy-nominated album “Made in Lagos”, continue to attract millions of streams weekly, supporting his long-term performance on the platform.
The milestone also places him among the top 300 most-streamed artists globally on Spotify.
Wizkid’s continued growth highlights his lasting influence in Afrobeats and the global music industry.
