The club stated it was disgusted by numerous racist posts, originating from multiple perpetrators operating through anonymous accounts. Wolves described the conduct as abhorrent and unlawful, insisting there is no place for racism in football, online, or in society at large.
Arokodare has received the club’s full and unwavering support. Wolves made clear that no player should be subjected to such hatred for doing their job, and the club stands firmly alongside him and all other footballers forced to endure racial abuse from those acting with apparent impunity.
The offensive posts have been reported to the relevant social media platforms. The club will work in conjunction with the English Premier League and law enforcement authorities to identify those responsible and ensure that appropriate consequences follow.
Wolves reaffirmed their commitment to a zero-tolerance stance on all forms of discrimination, signalling that every available channel will be pursued to hold perpetrators to account.
