December 20, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Emeka Ani, has cried out to Nigerians to come to his aid as he battles an eye problem capable of causing permanent blindness.
Last year, the senior prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry Warri, Jeremiah Fufeyin, gave Ani six million naira to undergo treatment.
He cried out then that he was going blind as a result of cataracts. And he had a wound on his buttocks, which needed urgent attention.
However, the actor revealed that despite the surgery he had already undergone, he still needs to undergo another surgery following an eye problem that could lead to blindness if untreated.
Ani appealed in a video posted on his colleague, Muonago Collins’ Instagram page on Sunday.
Speaking in the video, the actor said: “There is a growth around my eyes, if you look at it very well, you’ll see the growth coming to the black spot and if care is not properly taken, it might result in blindness.
“So, I want to plead with you once again, my brothers and sisters, to kindly help me so I can be taken abroad for proper medication and surgery. I have gone to so many hospitals here in Nigeria but to no avail. Please kindly help me so I can make use of my sight once again,” he stated.
