May 07, (THEWILL) — American social media influencer, Braden Eric Peters, known online as Clavicular, has been charged in Florida for allegedly shooting at an alligator during a livestream in the Everglades.
The video, from March 26, 2026, reportedly showed him firing a gun from an airboat.
The 20-year-old influencer is known for “looksmaxxing”, extreme efforts to improve appearance using steroids, surgery, intense exercise, and even hitting his face with a hammer. He faces a possible $1,000 fine and jail time or probation.
Two other men, Andrew Morales, known online as “The Cuban Tarzan”, and Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres, were also charged. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said it is investigating the video but did not confirm if any alligator was harmed.
A court summons was issued on May 6, and an arraignment is scheduled for May 20.
Morales’ attorney said there is no evidence an animal was injured and claimed his client had no criminal intent. Peters’ legal team also said no animal was harmed because the alligator was already dead.
Clavicular has been involved in other controversies, including a battery arrest in March over a fight he allegedly instigated and shared online, and a livestream in which he appeared to run over a pedestrian.
Experts have warned that extreme “hardmaxxing” can be physically harmful.
YouTube has blocked two of his channels, and he was recently hospitalised after collapsing during a Miami nightclub livestream.
