April 22, (THEWILL) — Self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology over the controversy surrounding her health claims.
In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the influencer apologized to her loved ones, fans, and Nigerians for what she described as “unnecessary drama, embarrassment, and controversy.”
“Hey, guys. My name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO. I want to start by saying I am sorry, very sorry to my loved ones, fans, well-wishers, and to all Nigerians,” she said.
“I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment, and controversy surrounding my health issues. I want to genuinely apologize. I am sorry.”
She maintained that she did not lie about her condition but promised to be more transparent by sharing her medical records.
“Please be patient with me. I did not lie about my health issues. I will start by uploading my scan results officially, down to my biopsy, and carry you all on this journey,” she said.
Blessing CEO also offered refunds to those who donated money, asking them to send their account details for reimbursement.
“And to the well-meaning Nigerians who want a refund of their contributions, please kindly send us a WhatsApp message or DM, attaching your receipt and account number, and you will get a refund,” she added.
The apology follows backlash over her earlier claims about her health, including a stage four cancer diagnosis, which she later described as a “miscommunication.”
