Stefon Diggs

May 05, (THEWILL) — Cardi B’s ex-boyfriend, football star, Stefon Diggs, was found not guilty on all charges in his assault trial on May 5, 2026, after a short jury deliberation in Massachusetts.

Diggs was accused by his former private chef, Jamila “Mila” Adams, of choking and slapping her during a December 2025 incident at his home. He denied all allegations.

A jury cleared him of felony strangulation and misdemeanour assault and battery, ending the two-day trial.

Adams said the alleged incident happened after an argument over unpaid wages and her exclusion from a planned trip to Miami. She also told the court she had a sexual relationship with Diggs while he was dating Cardi B.

Cardi B publicly defended Diggs earlier in 2026. She shared, and later deleted, alleged messages from Adams that she said contradicted the claims.

She and Diggs were in a high-profile relationship, had a child together, and later split after a short-lived relationship.

A police report also mentioned a “girlfriend,” widely believed to be Cardi B, who allegedly left a voicemail saying the incident was “not that big of a deal.”

During the trial, the defence questioned Adams’ credibility. Lawyers pointed to a lack of medical evidence and showed a video that appeared to show her uninjured shortly after the alleged incident.

They also said she reported the incident 14 days later, after she was fired and declined to sign a non-disclosure agreement tied to further payment.

After the verdict, Diggs’ legal team said no assault occurred.
