May 07, (THEWILL) — Nigerian streamer Carter Efe has challenged Grammy-winning singer Wizkid to a celebrity boxing match.
He made the call during a livestream with Kcee and E-Money, saying he wants a new opponent after defeating Portable in a celebrity boxing bout.
He also said he would like Wizkid’s son, Boluwatife Balogun, to be present during the fight.
“The person I want to fight with now is Wizkid, and I want his son, Boluwatife, to be there too. Let him come and collect the championship from me if he is man enough,” he said.
Carter Efe’s comments appear linked to a long-running issue with Wizkid, including his claim that the singer ignored his 2022 tribute song Machala and a recent fallout with Wizkid’s fanbase, Wizkid FC.
Wizkid has not responded to the challenge and has largely ignored past remarks from the streamer.
