March 31, (THEWILL) — Céline Dion has announced her return to the stage, four years after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare condition that affected her voice and mobility.
The singer will perform 10 shows at Paris La Défense Arena between September and October.
The shows, titled “Céline Dion Paris,” will mark her first full concert series since 2020, after Covid-19 and her 2022 diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) cut short her tour.
The announcement came on March 30, 2026, her 58th birthday.
In a message shared with fans, Dion described the comeback as “the best gift of my life.”
She said, “I’m so ready to do this,” she said. “I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously, [and] of course, a little nervous.”
Addressing her health, she added: “I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good. I’m singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing.”
She also thanked fans for their support.
She stated, “But I have to tell you something very important: Over these last few years, every day that’s gone by, I felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love.
“I am grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to see you again.”
Dion revealed in 2022 that she had Stiff Person Syndrome, a condition that causes muscle stiffness and spasms, affecting her voice and ability to perform.
Despite the challenges, she has undergone intensive therapy and has gradually returned to performing, including a widely praised appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony.
Her Paris shows will run from September 12 to October 14, with breaks between dates to help manage her health. Tickets will go on sale in April, and demand is expected to be high.
Dion, one of the best-selling artists of all time, is known for global hits including “My Heart Will Go On” and “Because You Loved Me.”
Her return marks a major moment in her recovery and in the music industry.
