
May 16, (THEWILL) – American singer and songwriter, Chris Brown, has been ordered to remain in custody until June 13, following his arrest for an alleged 2023 nightclub assault in London.
The R&B star faces charges of grievous bodily harm with intent after an incident involving music producer, Abe Diaw, at a London nightclub.
Manchester District Judge, Joanne Hirst, ruled the case “too serious” for magistrates’ court and referred it to London’s Southwark Crown Court.
Brown was denied bail and will remain in custody until a plea and trial preparation hearing on June 13 in London.
