The widow and children of late socialite, Lukman Olatunji, popularly known as Toto Abuga, has marked the 15th anniversary of his death. The event took place at MRA Hall, Magodo Phase 1, Lagos State. A special prayer session was conducted for the repose of his soul, while the family and friends also prayed for the repose of the soul of late Toto Abuga’s father, Alhaji Olatunji.
Friends and family paid glowing tributes to the deceased for his generosity and how he came to their aid when they needed him the most. Abiola, widow of the deceased, was also praised for holding forth and raising her four children in the absence of her husband. Guests who turned up for the event came in the ankara aso ebi which was supplied by the deceased widow’s company, Olori Fabrics.
The guests were treated to sumptuous delicacies from different caterers, while fast rising musician, Adewale Blessing, provided music.
Toto Abuga, was allegedly assassinated in 2008 in Lagos State. He was gunned down by unknown men a few minutes after leaving the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos upon returning from London where he had spent time with his wife and children. He was in his Sports Utility Vehicle with one of his friends when the unfortunate incident occurred in the Ketu area of Lagos. The late businessman was the darling of Fuji musicians at high octane parties in Lagos State during his lifetime.
