March 30, (THEWILL) — Tension flared on Sunday at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s film “The Return of Arinzo” when Nollywood actress Funke Akindele ignored her colleague Toyin Abraham in Lagos.
In a viral video, Abraham approached a table where Akindele sat with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe. While Ojo and Aigbe greeted her, Funke looked straight ahead and did not respond. Toyin walked away, visibly embarrassed.
The feud between the actresses appears to have deepened, with both reportedly unfollowing each other on Instagram.
In a now-deleted post, Abraham vowed never to greet Akindele again.
The incident has sparked debate, with some defending Funke’s choice and others calling for professionalism
