
May 29, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian gospel music community bid farewell to beloved artist, Bolaji Olanrewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji, who was buried in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday. The 50-year-old artist passed away on April 19, after a brief illness.
The funeral service and lying-in-state, held at Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, were attended by family, friends, and gospel musicians, including Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Yetunde Are, and popular comedian, Woli Agba.
The burial took place at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan, where loved ones gathered for the final rites.
Big Bolaji leaves behind a musical legacy spanning two decades, having touched many lives through his inspirational songs.
