January 22, (THEWILL) – Popular aphrodisiac seller, Hauwa Saidu Mogammed otherwise known as Jaruma has boasted that she will become Nigeria’s next president.
Jaruma made this boast in a video she shared after news of her arrest by the police on Friday January 21, 2022, in Abuja went viral.
There are reports that actress Regina Daniel’s wealthy husband, Ned Nwoko was responsible for her arrest.
Recall that, Ned Nwoko made it known last year that Jaruma was not responsible for the collapse of his marriage with his Moroccan wife, Laila Chanrai.
Jaruma had alleged that it was the aphrodisiac or Kayanmata in local parlance, that Regina advertised for her which she used, that was responsible for the collapse of Ned’s marriage with Laila.
Ned had refuted this, insisting that he ended his marriage to Laila because she had plastic surgery without his consent and she was also dating a strange man.
Jaruma’s ‘false’ claim allegedly led to her arrest.
A picture of the controversial entrepreneur writing a police statement after her arrest has since gone viral.
But, she has since been released.
After her release, she made a video where she stated why she was arrested.
According to her, people have been making jest of her since the news of her arrest went viral.
In the video, she claimed that because former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the current president Muhammadu Buhari spent time in jail before becoming leaders, then she would too.
Addressing why she was arrested, Jaruma said, “I don’t know how someone would abuse you and you will abuse them back and then the person will now use the Nigeria Police to bully you, to silence you.
“You will take someone’s land, the person will complain and you will send Nigeria Police to arrest them. You will take someone’s plantation, the person will complain, you will send Nigeria Police to go and put the person in prison.
“I paid 10m for a job that wasn’t done and I complained, boom, my own too don land for my head.”
“How many Nigerian youths do you want to put in jail?” she asked.
On the presidency, she said, “The only thing I have to say about this is, President Obasanjo was in prison, he came out of prison and became president. President Buhari was in prison, he came out and became president.
By God’s grace, for this, guys you know who the next president of Nigeria is going to be…it’s your girl, Jaruma. It’s a pattern oh.”
