Ijoba Lande, who recently returned from the United Kingdom, shared videos and posts online claiming he was attacked by officers from the Area J Police Command at a filling station in Ajah, Lagos State.
The actor said he and a friend were assaulted during the incident, leading to the seizure of his iPhone 16 Pro Max and $1,200 in cash belonging to his brother.
A video shared online showed him visibly injured, with blood on his face.

Responding to the allegation, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the officers involved had been brought in for questioning.
She said, “The officers involved have been identified and brought forward to the Command for investigation. At the moment, both the officers, the actor, and his friend are giving their statements. Further developments will be communicated accordingly.”
